DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, statements, and analyses for management.
- Process and track financial transactions within QuickBooks and Tally software systems.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets and forecasts.
- Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax requirements.
- Monitor and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and year-end accounting processes.
- Provide financial insights and support for management decision-making.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or CPA qualification
- Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with QuickBooks and Tally software
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
