DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development & Sales Acquisition
- Identify, pitch, and secure new advertisers to increase revenue.
- Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients through effective networking and lead generation.
Client Relationship Management
- Manage and nurture long-term relationships with key clients and advertising partners.
- Conduct client needs assessments to tailor advertising solutions that meet business goals.
- Serve as a liaison between clients and the creative/content teams to ensure alignment.
Market & Competitor Analysis
- Monitor market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities.
- Recommend adjustments to the sales strategy based on data-driven insights and evolving market dynamics.
Proposal Development & Contract Negotiation
- Develop and present compelling sales presentations and advertising proposals tailored to client needs.
- Lead contract negotiations and close deals that are profitable and mutually beneficial.
- Ensure proper documentation and contract management according to company policy.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Collaborate with marketing, editorial, and creative teams to develop and deliver integrated advertising solutions.
- Mentor junior sales team members, where applicable, and share best practices.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- MBA in Marketing/Strategic Management/International Business Management or any related field
- Bachelor's degree in any related field
- Over 8years experience working in a similar position at a media company or advertising agencies
- Should be able to identify, pitch and secure new advertisers for the company
- Track market trends and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities
- Should possess the ability and skills to write the proposals to meet the clients' needs
