DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Diagnose and repair electrical issues in vehicles including lighting systems, battery systems, alarms, infotainment systems, and wiring.
- Perform electrical installations such as vehicle tracking devices, dash cameras, sensors, and accessories.
- Use diagnostic tools and software to identify faults and conduct system scans.
- Interpret and work from electrical wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Maintain accurate service records and complete job cards for all work performed.
- Carry out routine maintenance on vehicle electrical systems to ensure reliability.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures during all repairs and installations.
- Collaborate with mechanics and other technicians to provide holistic vehicle servicing.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in automotive electrical technology.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Electrical, or a related technical field
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in automotive electrical maintenance and installation.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, circuits, and components
- Proficient in using multimeters, oscilloscopes, scan tools, and diagnostic software
- Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
