DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and prospective clients in the construction, steel, or roofing sectors.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their needs, concerns, and inquiries promptly.
Business Development & Sales:
- Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into sales.
- Develop and execute strategies to expand the company’s customer base.
- Present and promote company products/services to new and existing clients.
- Manage and track sales leads and business pipeline to ensure a consistent flow of opportunities.
Market Analysis & Insights:
- Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to inform sales and marketing strategies.
- Analyze client requirements and provide tailored solutions that meet their needs.
- Provide regular feedback to the management team regarding market trends, client feedback, and potential areas of improvement.
Negotiation & Closing:
- Utilize strong negotiation skills to close deals and achieve sales targets.
- Draft and finalize contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring both company and client needs are met.
Reporting & Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and progress in CRM systems.
- Prepare regular sales reports and present them to management, detailing achievements and areas for improvement.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3-4 years of proven experience in sales, preferably within the construction, steel, or roofing sectors
- Strong understanding of the construction, steel, or roofing industries and their market dynamics
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to identify new business opportunities and convert them into successful sales
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
