DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA):
- Engage with clients to understand their specific soft skills training requirements.
- Assess the current skill levels of employees through interviews, surveys, and discussions.
- Identify skill gaps and recommend appropriate training solutions tailored to the organization’s goals.
- Provide actionable insights and recommend training priorities based on TNA results.
Develop Training Programs:
- Design customized soft skills training programs based on the identified needs of the organization.
- Ensure training programs align with organizational goals and meet industry standards.
- Develop comprehensive training plans that address communication, leadership, teamwork, time management, problem-solving, emotional intelligence, and other relevant soft skills.
- Integrate interactive learning activities, case studies, role-plays, and group discussions to enhance the learning experience.
Create Training Materials:
- Develop engaging and effective training materials, such as presentations, handouts, manuals, e-learning modules, and other resources.
- Ensure that training materials are clear, concise, and tailored to the learning style and needs of the target audience.
- Keep training materials up-to-date with current best practices and industry trends.
Deliver and Facilitate Training Sessions:
- Facilitate and deliver engaging and interactive training sessions, ensuring active participation and knowledge retention.
- Adapt training delivery methods to accommodate different learning styles and group dynamics.
- Use a variety of instructional techniques, including lectures, group discussions, role-playing, simulations, and multimedia tools.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging participants to apply learned concepts in real-world scenarios.
Evaluate Training Effectiveness:
- Conduct post-training evaluations to assess participants’ understanding and application of the material.
- Use feedback tools (surveys, assessments, interviews) to gather insights from participants regarding the training program.
- Provide detailed feedback on areas for improvement and celebrate areas of success.
- Generate and share comprehensive reports with clients, outlining the effectiveness of the training, participant engagement, and recommendations for future development.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, understanding their ongoing needs and offering follow-up support.
- Stay informed about clients' business challenges and suggest relevant soft skills programs to address evolving needs.
- Act as a trusted advisor on soft skills development and contribute to the growth and success of client organizations.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in soft skills training and adult learning techniques.
- Continuously improve training programs, materials, and delivery techniques based on feedback and personal reflection.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance training skills and knowledge.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Degree in a relevant Business field
- 5 years’ experience as a corporate trainer specializing in soft skills.
- Proven track record of delivering successful soft skills training programs to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and implement training content.
- Experience in conducting Training Needs Assessments (TNA) and creating customized training programs
- Strong facilitation skills and the ability to engage participants in both in-person and virtual environments
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Ability to assess and measure training effectiveness and report findings to clients
