DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Leadership and Team Management:

  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and collective sales targets.
  • Implement sales strategies to ensure the team is achieving key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide regular performance reviews, feedback, and training to the sales team to ensure continuous growth and improvement.

Strategic Sales and Marketing Direction:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with the company’s objectives and market trends.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistent and effective marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness and sales.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to optimize and adjust strategies to meet targets.

 Business Development and Expansion:

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across the country.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and distributors to expand market reach.
  • Open new markets and drive the growth of the business, ensuring coverage and product distribution nationwide.

Market and Competitor Analysis:

  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics.
  • Provide actionable insights on market conditions, customer preferences, and competitor activities to inform sales and marketing strategies.

Reporting and Forecasting:

  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports for senior management.
  • Track sales performance, analyze trends, and adjust strategies accordingly.

Budget Management:

  • Manage sales budgets effectively, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to maximize returns.
  • Ensure that the sales team adheres to budgetary constraints while meeting their targets.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a relevant business field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience as a Sales Manager, with at least 5 years in the Alcohol Distribution Industry
  • Proven experience managing large, high-performing sales teams.
  • A strong understanding of the alcohol industry, market dynamics, and customer behavior.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and other stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully develop and implement sales strategies.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
