DATA VISUALIZATION SPECIALIST

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and publish Power BI dashboards and reports that meet business requirements.
• Create and optimize data models, measures, and DAX calculations for accurate reporting.
• Work with stakeholders to define KPIs and ensure dashboards support decision-making.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance by integrating multiple data sources (SQL Server, Excel, APIs, cloud platforms).
• Implement row-level security, permissions, and governance in Power BI Service.
• Provide documentation, training, and support to enhance user adoption of dashboards.
• Stay current with Power BI and BI industry trends to recommend improvements.

 KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

• Hands-on experience with Power BI (Desktop & Service), including Power Query and DAX.
• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling for relational databases.
• Strong understanding of data visualization principles, storytelling, and UX.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Strong communication skills to work with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field.
