DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership & Management
- Oversee daily operations of the dealership including sales, customer service, inventory, and reporting
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales representatives and support staff
- Monitor and enforce company policies and Safaricom standards at all levels
Sales & Performance
- Set sales targets and motivate the team to exceed performance metrics
- Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and customer segments
- Analyze sales trends and implement strategies to improve market share
Product Knowledge & Customer Experience
- Ensure the team is fully trained and updated on Safaricom products, services, promotions, and systems
- Resolve customer issues efficiently while maintaining high service standards
- Maintain a strong relationship with Safaricom account managers and support teams
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare regular sales and operations reports for senior management and Safaricom
- Ensure compliance with Safaricom dealership procedures, branding guidelines, and service level expectations
- Manage stock levels, device reconciliation, and proper documentation
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Must have proven experience managing a Safaricom Dealership
- In-depth knowledge of Safaricom’s products, services, systems, and dealer operations
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team development skills
- Demonstrated ability to exceed sales targets and grow market share
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in using sales reporting tools and dealership management systems
