GARDENER

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain lawns, flower beds, hedges, and garden pathways in a neat and orderly manner.
• Water, fertilize, prune, and weed plants and flowers as needed.
• Operate and maintain gardening tools, lawn mowers, trimmers, and other small machinery.
• Monitor the health of plants and report any pest or disease issues.
• Keep outdoor areas clean, tidy, and free from litter or debris.
• Follow seasonal planting and garden maintenance schedules.
• Assist with landscaping projects when required.
• Any other duties as assigned by management.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

• Proven experience as a gardener or similar role in landscaping or groundskeeping
• Practical knowledge of plant care, gardening techniques, and maintenance
• Ability to operate and maintain gardening tools and machinery safely and effectively
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• High level of attention to detail and a strong work ethic
• Must be dependable and able to work with minimal supervision
• Preferably the candidate should live in Westlands or its environs
