DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development & Product Availability

  • Identify, negotiate, and secure product listings in HORECA outlets and vending locations.
  • Install, configure, and set up vending machines at designated customer sites, ensuring operational readiness.
  • Enhance product accessibility and availability by leveraging both HORECA and vending channels.

Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Achieve a sales target for both Horeca & Vending.
  • Manage sales frequency, timeframes, and structured selling approaches to consistently meet targets.
  • Develop and execute promotional initiatives, activations, and customer engagement opportunities (e.g., tastings, vending machine promotions).
  • Ensure debt collection is achieved as per agreed terms in collaboration with the Finance department.

Customer Relationship & Service Management

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships by servicing all HORECA accounts as per agreements.
  • Provide responsive support to vending clients, resolving queries and machine performance issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth.

Stock & Inventory Management

  • Monitor product levels in vending machines and HORECA outlets to prevent stockouts.
  • Conduct regular audits to maintain accurate inventory records, minimize wastage, and ensure compliance.

Market Analysis & Product Knowledge

  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, customer preferences, and emerging opportunities within the HORECA and vending sectors.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of product knowledge, pricing, placement, and distribution to influence customer decisions.
  • Keep accurate records of sales activities, including calls, presentations, closed sales, machine installations, and follow-ups.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Degree or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the FMCG industry, preferably within HORECA, food & beverage, or vending channels.
  • Proven track record in sales, business development, and account management.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Customer-focused with a service-oriented mindset
