DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for retail and head office positions
- Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and source top talent
- Oversee a smooth and efficient onboarding process for all new hires
Performance Management
- Implement and manage performance evaluation processes across all departments
- Support managers in goal setting, feedback, and performance improvement plans
- Promote a performance-driven culture through regular coaching and development initiatives
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and conflict resolution
- Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive work environment
- Design and execute employee engagement strategies to enhance morale and retention
HR Compliance & Policies
- Ensure full compliance with Kenyan labour laws and company HR policies
- Maintain up-to-date records of employee documentation and contracts
- Update and enforce HR policies and procedures
Learning & Development
- Identify training needs and coordinate relevant internal or external training
- Support career development initiatives and succession planning
HR Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare monthly HR reports on headcount, turnover, and other key HR metrics
- Use data to inform HR strategies and decision-making
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- A minimum of 3–5 years proven HR experience, specifically in the fashion or retail industry
- Solid understanding of Kenyan employment law and HR best practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience working with HR systems and Microsoft Office tools
