JOB SUMMARY
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR to support their Human
Resources department. The HR will be responsible for various administrative and operational HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and employee relations. Additionally, this role requires reviewing and confirming disciplinary actions and terminations while ensuring adherence to company policies and legal requirements. The HR must be able to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Assist in job postings, resume screening, and scheduling interviews.
- Coordinate onboarding activities, including background checks, reference verification,
and new hire orientation.
- Ensure all employment-related documentation is completed and maintained
accurately.
Employee Relations & HR Support:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and
procedures.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and labor
laws.
- Assist in coordinating employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs.
- Review, record, and confirm any disciplinary and termination actions to ensure
compliance with policies and legal requirements.
Benefits & Payroll Administration:
- Support benefits enrollment and liaise with benefits providers.
- Assist in payroll processing by collecting and verifying employee information.
Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Prepare and maintain HR reports, records, and documentation as required.
- Share monthly reports on HR activities, plans, and achievements with management.
- Assist with internal audits and compliance reviews.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3 + years of experience in an HR support role, preferably in a corporate setting
- Strong understanding of HR policies, labor laws, and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in handling HR responsibilities.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in HR software, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
