DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Market Research & Identification:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential SACCOs and MFIs that align with our target market.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to develop effective sales strategies.

Client Engagement:

  • Initiate contact with potential SACCOs and MFIs through networking, cold calling, and referrals.
  • Present our solar products and financing options to key decision-makers within these organizations.

Onboarding & Relationship Management:

  • Facilitate the onboarding process for newly recruited SACCOs and MFIs, ensuring a smooth transition to offering our products.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and addressing any concerns.

Strategy Development:

  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop and implement tailored sales strategies that effectively target SACCOs and MFIs.
  • Set and achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets, monitoring performance and making adjustments as needed.

Training & Support:

  • Provide training and support to SACCO and MFI staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service excellence.
  • Ensure that clients are well-equipped to promote our products to their members.

 

 

 

Reporting & Feedback:

  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, client feedback, and market insights to inform management decisions.
  • Continuously seek feedback from clients to improve service delivery and product offerings.

 

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field (Business, Marketing, or a related discipline is a plus).
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in sales and marketing, specifically targeting SACCOs and MFIs.
  • Strong understanding of the financial services sector and the challenges faced by SACCOs and MFIs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a results-oriented mind-set.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
