DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Market Research & Identification:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential SACCOs and MFIs that align with our target market.
- Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to develop effective sales strategies.
Client Engagement:
- Initiate contact with potential SACCOs and MFIs through networking, cold calling, and referrals.
- Present our solar products and financing options to key decision-makers within these organizations.
Onboarding & Relationship Management:
- Facilitate the onboarding process for newly recruited SACCOs and MFIs, ensuring a smooth transition to offering our products.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and addressing any concerns.
Strategy Development:
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop and implement tailored sales strategies that effectively target SACCOs and MFIs.
- Set and achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets, monitoring performance and making adjustments as needed.
Training & Support:
- Provide training and support to SACCO and MFI staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service excellence.
- Ensure that clients are well-equipped to promote our products to their members.
Reporting & Feedback:
- Prepare regular reports on sales activities, client feedback, and market insights to inform management decisions.
- Continuously seek feedback from clients to improve service delivery and product offerings.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s degree in any field (Business, Marketing, or a related discipline is a plus).
- 3-5 years of proven experience in sales and marketing, specifically targeting SACCOs and MFIs.
- Strong understanding of the financial services sector and the challenges faced by SACCOs and MFIs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Strong negotiation skills and a results-oriented mind-set.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
