DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Loss Prevention & Security:

  • Monitor and ensure the effective functioning of security systems such as CCTV, security alarms, and access control systems.
  • Conduct regular checks on company premises to detect any potential security risks and ensure loss prevention measures are adhered to.
  • Review surveillance footage to investigate theft, fraud, or other irregularities and prepare detailed reports.

Auditing and Reporting:

  • Conduct routine and random audits on stock and asset inventory to ensure compliance with internal controls and procedures.
  • Provide written reports on incidents of theft, loss, or security breaches, detailing findings and corrective actions.
  • Recommend strategies to improve the security and loss control systems based on audit findings and industry best practices.

Training & Awareness:

  • Provide training to staff on security protocols, safety measures, and loss prevention techniques.
  • Create awareness programs within the company to encourage staff to report suspicious activity.
  • Ensure that all employees adhere to loss control policies and procedures.

Risk Assessment & Mitigation:

  • Regularly assess risk areas within the company premises and suggest measures to mitigate potential risks.
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop strategies for reducing loss incidents.

 

 

 

Incident Management:

  • Lead investigations into security breaches or any incidents of loss, fraud, or theft.
  • Ensure that any incidents are documented appropriately and handled in accordance with company policies.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Diploma in Business Management or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Loss Control Officer or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of loss prevention technologies (CCTV systems, security alarms, access controls)
  • Ability to assess risks and implement loss control strategies
  • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with staff, management, and external vendors
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to company protocols
  • Hipora training is desired
