DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations & Production Management

  • Oversee and coordinate daily manufacturing operations to ensure production efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery.
  • Monitor production schedules and adjust workflows as necessary to meet targets.
  • Implement and maintain effective operational systems and procedures.

Logistics & Supply Chain Management

  • Ensure timely procurement and delivery of raw materials.
  • Oversee warehouse operations including inventory control and dispatch.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and transporters to maintain a seamless supply chain.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of production supervisors, technicians, and support staff.
  • Develop performance metrics and evaluate employee productivity.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Cost & Resource Management

  • Develop and manage operational budgets and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Monitor expenses and suggest ways to minimize operational waste and inefficiencies.
  • Conduct regular analysis of operational performance and suggest improvements.

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure all operations adhere to company policies and local health & safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.
  • Mitigate risks through enforcement of safety procedures and incident reporting.

Reporting & Strategic Planning

  • Prepare regular reports on operational performance, challenges, and solutions.
  • Participate in strategic planning to align operations with organizational goals.
  • Contribute to long-term operational strategies including process automation and capacity building.

 

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in operations or logistics management
  • At least 3–4 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing workflows, logistics coordination, and safety compliance
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
