DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Business Development

  • Proactively identify and target potential clients within the adhesives sector including manufacturers, distributors, and retailers.
  • Promote and sell a wide range of adhesive products tailored to client needs and industry applications.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve individual and departmental sales targets.
  • Generate new leads, conduct sales visits, product presentations, and close deals.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with customers to assess satisfaction, gather feedback, and provide after-sales support.
  • Act as the main point of contact for assigned clients and manage expectations professionally.

Market Intelligence & Product Expertise

  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, pricing, and emerging customer needs.
  • Work closely with the product development and marketing teams to share insights from the field.
  • Provide technical guidance and product demonstrations to clients where necessary.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and follow-ups using the CRM system.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to management.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with logistics to ensure timely delivery to clients.

Customer Service & Support

  • Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Handle client complaints or product-related issues efficiently and escalate when required.
  • Ensure clients receive the correct product specifications and understand proper usage.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales, with a proven track record specifically in adhesives or related chemical products
  • Sound knowledge of the adhesives market, product types, customer segments, and buying behaviour
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within and around the region
