DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development & Lead Generation

  • Proactively identify and engage new prospects through cold calls, referrals, networking, and digital platforms.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads across targeted industries (FMCG, insurance, financial institutions, etc.).
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and assess their branding and printing needs.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within client organizations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all client-related inquiries, ensuring consistent and timely communication.
  • Provide exceptional post-sale service to maintain client satisfaction and encourage repeat business.

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Create and implement strategic sales plans aligned with company goals and market trends.
  • Prepare and deliver tailored proposals, quotations, and presentations that demonstrate clear value to potential clients.
  • Negotiate terms and close sales contracts while ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.

Industry-Specific Solutions Selling

  • Understand the unique branding needs and regulatory considerations of clients in sectors like FMCG, insurance, and finance.
  • Offer customized solutions for print and branding collateral, including but not limited to promotional items, packaging, signage, event branding, and corporate identity materials.
  • Collaborate with the creative and production teams to translate client requirements into tangible deliverables.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track personal sales performance against KPIs and targets on a weekly/monthly basis.
  • Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts, and client feedback summaries for senior management.
  • Monitor the status of ongoing jobs to ensure quality and delivery timelines are met.

Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis

  • Keep abreast of industry developments, trends in branding technologies, and shifts in client behavior.
  • Monitor competitor offerings, pricing strategies, and marketing tactics to refine our value proposition.
  • Provide feedback to the management team for product development and service innovation.

Team Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

  • Collaborate with internal departments (design, production, logistics) to ensure smooth execution of client projects.
  • Share market feedback and client insights with the team to improve service delivery.
  • Mentor junior sales staff or interns, if assigned, to strengthen team capability.

 

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, preferably within the printing, branding, or related industries
  • Demonstrated success in selling to clients in the FMCG, financial, and insurance sectors
  • Strong understanding of branding, design, and print production processes
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools
