DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sales Generation: Identify and develop new business opportunities, as well as manage existing accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Market Research: Conduct regular market visits to understand customer needs and gather competitive intelligence.
  • Product Promotion: Promote a range of food products to customers, ensuring that the benefits and features are clearly communicated.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to increase brand loyalty and repeat business.
  • Sales Reports: Prepare and submit regular sales reports, including market trends, customer feedback, and competitor analysis.
  • Brand Representation: Represent the company in a professional manner at all times and ensure that the company's values are communicated in the market.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up to date on product details, industry trends, and customer preferences to provide informed recommendations and sales support.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery and efficient stock management.

 

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Degree or Diploma in any field
  • At least 1 year of experience in FMCG sales or a similar role
  • Must be conversant with the food products market in Kisumu and surrounding areas
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Good organizational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
