DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Grow and manage sales volumes within assigned territory in line with regional targets.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships across retail, wholesale, horeca, and fast food channels.
  • Identify and recruit new customers and route opportunities to optimize market coverage.
  • Coordinate and monitor local activations and trade marketing initiatives in collaboration with marketing.
  • Collect market intelligence on competitor activities, pricing, and trade dynamics.
  • Ensure timely collections and adherence to credit policies and terms.
  • Collaborate with distribution partners to streamline delivery and product availability.
  • Regularly submit accurate sales reports, forecasts, and insights to management.
  • Support rollout of new product lines, promotions, and campaigns in the field.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • At least 5 years of experience in field sales, preferably in FMCG or meat processing sectors.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working in the respective region (Nyeri or Eldoret), with established local networks.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and expanding customer base.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and sales reporting tools.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region.
