JOB SUMMARY
The Sales Supervisor will be responsible for driving sales performance through two key areas: managing and collaborating with the distributor to ensure the achievement of sales targets, and independently managing B2B customers. This role includes overseeing the distributor’s performance, conducting trade audits, managing merchandisers, and ensuring maximum product visibility. Additionally, the supervisor will handle B2B accounts, from lead generation to coordinating timely deliveries.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Distributor Management:
- Work closely with the distributor to achieve sales targets for various product categories.
- Monitor distributor performance, ensuring alignment with pricing, promotions, and sales strategies.
- Conduct regular trade audits to ensure no stock outs and maintain maximum product visibility in all outlets.
- Collaborate with and train merchandisers to optimize in store product placement, ensuring compliance with merchandising standards and promotional plans.
- Support the distributor in executing sales plans, promotional activities, and ensuring product availability in the market.
- Conduct performance reviews with the distributor to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
B2B Sales Management:
- Independently manage a portfolio of B2B customers, driving sales to meet and exceed targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key business partners, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Conduct market research to identify new B2B sales opportunities and potential customers.
- Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation, negotiations, and contract closing.
- Coordinate with internal teams and logistics to ensure timely deliveries to B2B customers and resolve any delivery or stock issues.
- Prepare regular sales reports, tracking B2B performance against targets and providing insights for improvement.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted promotions and sales campaigns for B2B clients.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, with a strong track record of achieving targets.
- Proven experience working with distributors and managing B2B customers.
- Experience in conducting trade audits and working with merchandisers to ensure product visibility and availability.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Self-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel.
