DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development & Sales Strategy

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the banking and financial services industry.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs.
  • Lead end-to-end sales cycles including lead generation, proposal development, presentations, negotiations, and deal closure.

Solution Promotion & Client Engagement

  • Promote and present the company’s product portfolio including:
  • Core Banking Systems & Integration Solutions
  • Digital Channels (Internet & Mobile Banking, Customer Experience Platforms)
  • Process Automation Tools (BPM, RPA, Reconciliation)
  • Risk & Security Platforms (Cybersecurity, Fraud Monitoring)
  • Engage with CXOs, IT Heads, and Business Leaders at banks and financial institutions to understand requirements and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales and technical teams to deliver solution demos and POCs.

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all business development activities with assigned clients.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work with internal product, marketing, and delivery teams to refine offerings based on market feedback.
  • Assist in the creation of go-to-market strategies, marketing collateral, and campaigns.
  • Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to influence product roadmap and innovation.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Degree in Business, Finance, IT, or a related field (MBA is a plus)
  • 5+ years of experience in business development or sales in the financial technology sector, preferably selling to banks or financial institutions
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and closing complex solution-based deals
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel as required for client meetings and industry events
