DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development & Sales Strategy
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the banking and financial services industry.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs.
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles including lead generation, proposal development, presentations, negotiations, and deal closure.
Solution Promotion & Client Engagement
- Promote and present the company’s product portfolio including:
- Core Banking Systems & Integration Solutions
- Digital Channels (Internet & Mobile Banking, Customer Experience Platforms)
- Process Automation Tools (BPM, RPA, Reconciliation)
- Risk & Security Platforms (Cybersecurity, Fraud Monitoring)
- Engage with CXOs, IT Heads, and Business Leaders at banks and financial institutions to understand requirements and tailor solutions accordingly.
- Collaborate with pre-sales and technical teams to deliver solution demos and POCs.
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all business development activities with assigned clients.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work with internal product, marketing, and delivery teams to refine offerings based on market feedback.
- Assist in the creation of go-to-market strategies, marketing collateral, and campaigns.
- Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to influence product roadmap and innovation.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Degree in Business, Finance, IT, or a related field (MBA is a plus)
- 5+ years of experience in business development or sales in the financial technology sector, preferably selling to banks or financial institutions
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and closing complex solution-based deals
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to travel as required for client meetings and industry events
