DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure optimal and safe operation of all plant machinery throughout the production process.
- Confirm that the correct materials are being used for the intended product and production run.
- Monitor and adjust machine parameters to ensure they are within specified operational limits.
- Maintain a clean and orderly environment within the filling room and general plant area.
- Undertake and complete pending repair or maintenance tasks in the event of machine breakdowns.
- Carry out weekly preventive maintenance and servicing of equipment as per the schedule.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues arising during production with minimal downtime.
- Inspect and verify product parameters to ensure consistency and compliance with quality standards.
- Monitor ongoing production activities to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety are maintained.
- Liaise with Quality Control personnel promptly in case of any non-conformities or quality concerns.
- Clean and maintain all equipment thoroughly after each production cycle.
- Perform any additional duties as may be assigned by management from time to time.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma or Technician II certificate in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years working in a similar role within the oil & gas sector or a related industrial environment
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude
- Proficient in machine operation and maintenance
- Familiarity with gas plant operations
- Solid understanding of Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) regulations and best practices
