JOB SUMMARY
As the Business Development Manager (BDM), you will be a key driver of growth and strategic direction for the company. You will oversee revenue generation, client acquisition, and partner collaboration, ensuring the company maintains a competitive edge in the IT industry. Your leadership will inspire and align the sales team toward achieving ambitious sales and market expansion goals.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Planning and Execution
- Develop and implement actionable strategies to grow sales across all product lines, including Red Hat training, certifications, software solutions, ICT technical support, and partner offerings (Red Hat, IBM, Oracle, Microsoft, Tally Prime).
- Identify and penetrate new markets while refining strategies for competitive advantage.
- Lead rebranding and repackaging initiatives to ensure solutions remain relevant to evolving technologies and market demands.
Client Acquisition and Retention
- Research and target prospective accounts in high-growth markets.
- Manage the full sales cycle: generate leads, craft tailored proposals, and close high-value deals.
- Foster strong client relationships to ensure long-term satisfaction and retention.
Sales Team Leadership
- Set clear performance goals and KPIs for the business development and sales teams.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to improve productivity and technical knowledge.
- Ensure team alignment with company sales targets and growth objectives.
Partner Collaboration
- Collaborate with strategic partners like Red Hat, IBM, Oracle, Microsoft, and Tally Prime to maximize solution sales.
- Maintain compliance with partner guidelines and execute co-branded initiatives.
- Develop new alliances to broaden the company’s market presence and sales reach.
Market Engagement
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Conduct ongoing competitor and market research to refine positioning, pricing, and
promotional strategies.
Operational Oversight
- Establish and oversee lead tracking and sales pipelines.
- Provide detailed reports on sales performance, market trends, and KPI metrics to the executive team.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field
- About 5 years of proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
- Strong ability to develop and implement actionable sales strategies.
- Deep understanding of market trends and competitive landscape.
- Experience in rebranding, repackaging, and product innovation.
