WAREHOUSE & DISPATCH SUPERVISOR

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods in accordance with company procedures.
• Lead, train, and manage warehouse staff to ensure efficient work processes and high levels of productivity.
• Ensure that goods are properly stored, labeled, and organized in the warehouse for easy access and stock rotation.
• Oversee the dispatch of goods to customers or stores, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries.
• Manage inventory control, ensuring stock levels are maintained and discrepancies are addressed promptly.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve warehouse layout, processes, and safety measures.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of all warehouse activities, including goods received and dispatched.
• Collaborate with procurement and other departments to ensure that goods are available for production or distribution when required.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all warehouse staff.
• Monitor the use of warehouse equipment and vehicles, ensuring they are in good condition and properly maintained.
• Report any issues or concerns to management, making recommendations for improvements in warehouse processes.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or a manufacturing company.
• Proficiency in SAP systems for inventory and warehouse management.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and warehouse best practices.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal teams effectively.
