DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Content Strategy & Planning

  • Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to develop a content strategy aligned with brand objectives.
  • Research industry trends, competitors, and target audience to generate content ideas.
  • Maintain a content calendar to ensure timely publication across platforms.

Content Creation & Management

  • Write, edit, and proofread engaging content for social media, websites, blogs, emails, newsletters, and press releases.
  • Develop multimedia content, including images, graphics, and short videos, tailored for specific platforms.
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, tone, and style guidelines.

Social Media Management

  • Manage the company’s social media accounts by creating posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments or messages.
  • Optimize content for each social media platform to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Track performance metrics (likes, shares, comments, reach, clicks) and generate reports with insights for improvement.

Digital Marketing Support

  • Assist in creating online campaigns, including product launches, promotions, and events.
  • Support SEO initiatives by producing keyword-optimized content for blogs and web pages.
  • Collaborate with designers, videographers, and other team members to create cohesive marketing campaigns.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of digital content using analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media insights, etc.).
  • Provide recommendations based on data to improve content engagement and audience reach.
  • Stay updated on digital marketing trends and competitor activity to inform content strategy.

 Brand Advocacy

  • Represent the company online in a professional, consistent, and engaging manner.
  • Build and maintain a positive brand image across digital channels.
  • Identify opportunities for partnerships, collaborations, or influencer engagements that enhance brand visibility.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism, Media, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Content Creator, Digital Marketer, or Social Media Manager
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, video editing software) is an advantage
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and storytelling
