DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the development and improvement of existing food products, focusing on quality, taste, and shelf-life.
  • Conduct experiments and trials to test new formulations and processing methods.
  • Implement and monitor preservation methods to extend product shelf-life and maintain quality.
  • Troubleshoot processing issues and recommend solutions.
  • Conduct quality control checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
  • Assist in the implementation of food safety audits.
  • Research new ingredients, processing techniques, and packaging materials.
  • Maintain detailed records of experiments, formulations, and processing procedures.
  • Prepare reports on product development, quality control, and food safety activities.

 

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within the food industry
  • Strong understanding of food processing techniques and preservation methods
  • Familiarity with food safety compliance and quality control procedures
