DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing Strategy Development:
- Design, develop, and implement strategic marketing plans to promote hospital services, specialties, and programs.
- Align marketing strategies with the hospital’s overall mission, vision, and growth objectives.
- Identify new opportunities to expand patient base and enhance service awareness.
Digital Marketing & Online Presence Management:
- Manage hospital digital platforms, including the website, social media accounts, and online advertising campaigns.
- Monitor digital engagement metrics, analyze traffic, and optimize online campaigns to maximize visibility and reach.
- Ensure content is updated, accurate, and aligned with healthcare compliance standards.
Brand Management:
- Maintain and strengthen the hospital’s brand identity across all marketing materials and communications.
- Develop brochures, newsletters, banners, and other promotional materials for both print and digital channels.
- Ensure consistent messaging and visual identity in all internal and external communications.
Market Research & Analysis:
- Conduct market research to understand patient needs, competitors, and industry trends.
- Analyze data to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide insights to hospital management to inform service development and patient engagement strategies.
Patient Engagement & Community Outreach:
- Plan and execute community health campaigns, awareness programs, and events to build trust and engagement.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to organize workshops, seminars, and health talks.
- Develop patient education materials that communicate the value of hospital services effectively.
Stakeholder Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, healthcare providers, media, and community organizations.
- Act as the hospital’s liaison for marketing collaborations, sponsorships, and partnerships.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure cohesive marketing communication across all hospital services.
Reporting & Performance Tracking:
- Monitor and report on marketing campaign performance, ROI, and patient acquisition metrics.
- Prepare regular reports for hospital management with actionable recommendations.
- Continuously evaluate and adjust marketing strategies to meet performance goals.
Compliance & Ethical Marketing:
- Ensure all marketing activities comply with healthcare regulations, ethical guidelines, and patient privacy standards.
- Stay updated on legal requirements affecting healthcare marketing in Kenya.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years proven experience in marketing within the healthcare sector
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional presentation, networking, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
