DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage maintenance activities to ensure the smooth operation of production machinery and equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on all mechanical systems, ensuring high reliability and performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, and oversee repairs as necessary.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and ensure adherence to industry best practices.
- Manage the inventory of spare parts and coordinate with vendors for procurement.
- Oversee and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring they are well-trained, equipped, and motivated.
- Create and maintain accurate maintenance logs and reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations within the maintenance department.
- Provide technical support to the production team to optimize machine performance and reduce downtime.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth coordination and problem resolution.
- Lead root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering department within a manufacturing company.
- Prior experience in a plastic manufacturing company is highly desirable.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team, ensuring high levels of performance and accountability.
- Ability to make quick decisions and adapt in fast-paced situations.
