DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruitment and Staffing:

  • Assist in the recruitment process including job postings, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and hiring new employees.
  • Maintain and update recruitment databases.
  • Ensure proper onboarding of new hires, including orientation programs and documentation.

Employee Relations:

  • Act as a point of contact for employees, addressing HR-related concerns and inquiries.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture by supporting employee engagement initiatives.
  • Mediate and resolve employee conflicts, ensuring fair and effective conflict resolution.

Training and Development:

  • Assist in identifying employee training needs and support the development of training programs.
  • Coordinate training sessions to improve skills and knowledge within the organization.
  • Maintain employee development records.

Performance Management:

  • Assist in implementing performance management systems and processes, including appraisals and feedback mechanisms.
  • Monitor employee performance and work with managers to address performance issues.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Assist in administering employee payroll and benefits programs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain records of employee attendance, leave balances, and overtime.

 

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies, keeping up-to-date with changes in employment legislation.
  • Prepare reports related to HR metrics, including headcount, turnover, and employee engagement.

HR Administration:

  • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS.
  • Manage employee files, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Prepare and manage HR-related documents, including contracts, warnings, and terminations.

Health and Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the workplace.
  • Assist in the implementation of health and safety programs to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Degree in Human Resource Management or a relevant field
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar HR role, ideally in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS software.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
