DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruitment and Staffing:
- Assist in the recruitment process including job postings, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and hiring new employees.
- Maintain and update recruitment databases.
- Ensure proper onboarding of new hires, including orientation programs and documentation.
Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employees, addressing HR-related concerns and inquiries.
- Promote a positive workplace culture by supporting employee engagement initiatives.
- Mediate and resolve employee conflicts, ensuring fair and effective conflict resolution.
Training and Development:
- Assist in identifying employee training needs and support the development of training programs.
- Coordinate training sessions to improve skills and knowledge within the organization.
- Maintain employee development records.
Performance Management:
- Assist in implementing performance management systems and processes, including appraisals and feedback mechanisms.
- Monitor employee performance and work with managers to address performance issues.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Assist in administering employee payroll and benefits programs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain records of employee attendance, leave balances, and overtime.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies, keeping up-to-date with changes in employment legislation.
- Prepare reports related to HR metrics, including headcount, turnover, and employee engagement.
HR Administration:
- Maintain and update employee records in HRIS.
- Manage employee files, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
- Prepare and manage HR-related documents, including contracts, warnings, and terminations.
Health and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the workplace.
- Assist in the implementation of health and safety programs to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Degree in Human Resource Management or a relevant field
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar HR role, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
