DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the marketing function and identify, analyze and implement new business growth opportunities.
  • Develop and execute an annual strategic marketing plan that will expand the Sacco’s brand awareness, growth and service.
  • Carry out market intelligence and customer surveys; accelerate growth in membership and product uptake.
  • Prepare and coordinate dissemination of communications to members on time using circulars, work place visits, the updated website, member’s portal and other online and mobile phone applications.
  • Educate the members on all SACCO’s applicable policies, new products and services.
  • Ensure membership recruitment documentation is 100% compliant to the SACCO requirements.
  • Participate in marketing promotions, work stations visits and any campaigns as may be assigned and providing reports on the same.
  • Preparation and presentation of monthly business report on achievement gained to the Chief Executive Officer and Board.
  • Carry out member satisfaction survey, on the SACCO services and products and provide analyzed data to the Board.
  • Ensure proactive and regular contact with members/customers and resolve members’ issues amicably.
  • Produce valuable and engaging content for SACCO website and the Newsletter.
  • Develop and keep in safe custody all marketing and promotional materials i.e. brochures, banners, etc.
  • Reach out to past members to rejoin or active their accounts
  • Ensure members are served as per the customer service policy, service charter, SACCO policies and By-laws.
  • Advice the Board on prospects for new business

 

 

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Diploma in Co-operative Management
  • Certificate in Marketing or Public relations and CPA Part 1 is an added advantage
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
  • Proven track record in implementing marketing successful programs
  • Excellent communication, influencing and presentation skills
  • Good interpersonal and networking skills
  • Excellent Planning and Organizing/ Work Management Skills
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and effectively under pressure to meet strict deadlines
