DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and target potential clients in the healthcare sector, including hospitals, clinics, private practices, rehabilitation centers, and other medical facilities.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet company growth objectives and expand the customer base within the designated region or territory.
- Actively seek out new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and referrals, ensuring a continuous pipeline of prospective clients.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and foster long-term partnerships.
- Negotiate and close sales agreements, ensuring that both customer needs and company goals are met.
- Conduct in-depth product demonstrations and presentations for healthcare professionals, showcasing the features, benefits, and proper usage of medical equipment.
- Provide technical knowledge and expertise on the medical equipment being sold, answering any product-related questions and resolving customer concerns.
- Ensure that potential clients understand the full range of product applications and assist them in selecting the appropriate equipment for their needs.
- Train clients on the proper operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of medical devices, ensuring they feel confident in using the equipment.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key decision-makers, including doctors, medical directors, procurement managers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries, product requests, and post-sales support, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Follow up regularly with clients to gather feedback on products and services, identify opportunities for improvement, and offer additional solutions or equipment.
- Address and resolve customer issues and complaints promptly, maintaining high levels of customer loyalty and trust.
- Maintain an organized and up-to-date database of all client interactions, sales activities, and opportunities using CRM software.
- Generate regular reports on sales performance, market trends, client feedback, and competitor activities, sharing insights with the sales team and management.
- Accurately forecast sales and track progress against monthly, quarterly, and annual targets, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve goals.
- Prepare and submit sales proposals, contracts, and any necessary documentation to secure orders and finalize deals.
- Continuously monitor the medical equipment market, staying informed about new product developments, technological advancements, and industry trends.
- Keep abreast of competitors' products, pricing, and promotional activities, using this information to identify opportunities for differentiation and improvement.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and product launches to stay up-to-date on industry developments, network with potential clients, and promote the company's brand.
- Work closely with the marketing team to provide feedback on customer needs, potential product gaps, and effective promotional strategies.
- Collaborate with the customer service and technical support teams to ensure smooth post-sales processes and quick resolution of any issues that arise.
- Participate in regular sales meetings and strategy sessions with management to discuss progress, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
- Continuously develop product knowledge and sales skills by attending training sessions, workshops, and vendor presentations.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in medical equipment and industry standards to offer the most relevant and effective solutions to clients.
- Seek feedback from clients and colleagues to improve personal sales techniques and enhance customer service practices.
- Consistently meet or exceed established sales quotas and performance metrics.
- Drive the achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals through proactive prospecting, relationship building, and closing sales.
- Monitor personal performance, identify areas for improvement, and take action to continuously improve sales outcomes.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Degree or Diploma in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in medical equipment sales or a related industry.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare industry standards.
- Proven track record of sales success and achieving set targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
