DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly, professional, and helpful manner.
  • Assist customers in locating products and offer recommendations as needed.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Accurately process all customer transactions, including sales of pharmaceutical products, over-the-counter medications, and other items.
  • Ensure the correct prices are applied and that any discounts or offers are reflected in the transaction.
  • Process cash, credit card, and mobile payment transactions securely and efficiently.
  • Issue receipts to customers after each transaction and ensure all financial documentation is correct and complete.
  • Operate the POS system to process payments, manage sales records, and issue receipts.
  • Reconcile the cash register at the end of each shift to ensure that all transactions are properly recorded.
  • Assist in monitoring stock levels and reporting low or out-of-stock items to the pharmacy manager.
  • Ensure products are properly displayed and organized on shelves for easy access by customers.
  • Perform basic administrative duties such as filing, updating records, and maintaining proper documentation for all transactions.
  • Ensure all transactions and customer interactions comply with pharmacy policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Assist in the restocking of shelves and maintaining the overall cleanliness and order of the pharmacy.
  • Be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on business needs.

 

 

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • A Diploma or Certificate in any field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a retail setup or pharmacy.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Experience in handling payments and issuing receipts.
  • Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems is an added advantage.
  • Must be willing to work long hours.
