DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Photography & Visual Storytelling

  • Plan and execute photo shoots according to project briefs, company branding guidelines, and marketing campaigns.
  • Capture compelling images for internal and external use, including corporate events, product launches, lifestyle shots, team portraits, office culture, and behind-the-scenes content.
  • Ensure photographs reflect the company's identity, tone, and visual style.

Image Editing & Post-Production

  • Edit, retouch, and enhance photos using Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop and Lightroom) to meet professional standards and specific project needs.
  • Ensure consistency in color grading, exposure, and resolution across various media.
  • Prepare and format final images for use across digital and print platforms (e.g., website, social media, presentations, brochures).

Equipment Management

  • Maintain and organize photography gear, including cameras, lenses, tripods, lighting kits, backdrops, and props.
  • Ensure all equipment is in good working condition and arrange repairs or replacements as needed.
  • Stay updated with new photography tools and techniques and recommend upgrades when necessary.

Creative Planning & Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Marketing, Communications, and Design teams to develop visual concepts and storyboards.
  • Attend briefing sessions and contribute creative ideas for visual campaigns and branded content.
  • Provide input on visual direction for upcoming campaigns, events, and seasonal themes.

 Lighting & Technical Setup

  • Set up and manage studio or on-site lighting for different types of shoots (natural light, strobe, continuous lighting, etc.).
  • Choose appropriate backdrops and set dressing to complement the shoot objectives.
  • Adjust camera settings and lighting based on subject, environment, and style requirements.

Archiving & Asset Management

  • Organize and store all photography assets systematically for easy retrieval and long-term use.
  • Maintain a digital photo library and ensure backups are done regularly.
  • Label and tag files correctly for efficient search and usage by different departments.

Event Coverage

  • Cover corporate events, meetings, activations, and staff functions as required.
  • Capture candid and posed moments that can be used for internal newsletters, press releases, and marketing materials.
  • Ensure timely delivery of processed images after each event.

Continuous Improvement

  • Keep up with industry trends and photography techniques to maintain a modern and fresh visual output.
  • Attend relevant training, exhibitions, or online learning platforms to develop your professional skills.
  • Provide suggestions for improving photography workflows and content strategy.

General Duties

  • Assist in occasional videography or multimedia projects if required.
  • Support other departments with any visual content needs.
  • Perform any additional responsibilities assigned by the Head of Department (HoD).

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Diploma or Degree in Visual Arts, Photography, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years’ work experience in a corporate or similar professional environment
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.)
  • Strong artistic ability and creativity
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Excellent color vision and aesthetic sense
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Good interpersonal skills and team spirit
  • Disciplined, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality results
