DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to customers by assisting them in selecting jewelry that meets their preferences and needs. Offer expert advice on jewelry pieces and ensure customers feel valued and appreciated.
- Sales: Actively engage with customers to promote and sell jewelry, achieving sales targets. Demonstrate jewelry features, provide product recommendations, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
- Transaction Handling: Accurately process transactions using POS systems, handling cash, credit, and other payment methods. Ensure a smooth and efficient checkout experience for customers.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring that all inventory is accurately recorded and updated. Work with the team to ensure new stock is properly received, stored, and displayed.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of the jewelry products, including materials, styles, trends, and product care instructions. Stay updated on the latest jewelry collections and promotions to better assist customers.
- Visual Merchandising: Ensure that the jewelry displays are visually appealing and follow store standards. Regularly adjust displays to feature new items or seasonal promotions and create an inviting environment to attract customers.
- Shop Cleanliness: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store at all times, ensuring that it is inviting and well-presented. This includes cleaning jewelry displays, showcases, counters, and floors. Keep all areas tidy, ensuring no clutter or debris that could negatively affect the store’s ambiance.
- Jewelry Care & Presentation: Regularly inspect the jewelry on display to ensure it is polished, clean, and in good condition. Handle all jewelry carefully and ensure that it is displayed in a way that showcases its quality and appeal.
- Customer Relations: Build strong relationships with repeat customers, providing personalized service to enhance customer loyalty. Keep track of customer preferences and notify them of new arrivals or special offers when appropriate.
- Store Maintenance: Ensure all necessary supplies are stocked and readily available. Report any maintenance or repair needs for the store or jewelry items to management.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the team to ensure the store runs smoothly and effectively, contributing to a positive working environment.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Previous experience in sales, specifically in jewelry or a related field
- Strong knowledge of POS systems and ability to handle transactions efficiently
- Experience with inventory management and maintaining accurate stock records.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
