DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the steel structures industry, particularly in water tanks, fuel tanks, and general construction steelworks.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to meet organizational goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, contractors, engineers, architects, and decision-makers in the construction sector.
  • Manage the full sales cycle – from lead generation and client presentations to contract negotiation and deal closure.

Marketing & Brand Positioning

  • Work with the marketing team to implement promotional campaigns, advertising strategies, and digital outreach to enhance brand visibility.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform strategic decisions.
  • Attend industry expos, construction forums, and trade fairs to represent the company and generate leads.

Team Management & Training

  • Lead, train, and mentor a team of sales executives and marketing officers.
  • Develop sales training programs to enhance product knowledge, negotiation skills, and closing techniques.
  • Set clear sales targets and monitor performance to ensure targets are consistently met or exceeded.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management.
  • Analyze sales data and market feedback to refine strategies and improve performance.
  • Maintain accurate client and project records in the CRM system.

 

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Diploma or higher in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in selling steel structure solutions.
  • Proven track record in selling water tanks, fuel tanks, or other fabricated steel products is a strong advantage.
  • Experience working within or selling to the construction and engineering sectors is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in managing sales teams, coaching, and performance management.
