DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Business Development

  • Actively sell the company’s FMCG products to retail and HORECA clients in assigned territories.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities by prospecting and onboarding new clients.
  • Promote product awareness and conduct product demonstrations where necessary.

Account Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.
  • Manage existing customer accounts by providing excellent after-sales service and addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure timely deliveries in coordination with logistics.

Sales Execution

  • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
  • Negotiate pricing, promotions, and contracts with customers within company guidelines.
  • Track sales performance using reporting tools and submit regular reports to the Sales Manager.

Market Intelligence

  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Provide feedback to the marketing and product development teams to help improve offerings and service delivery.

Strategy Implementation

  • Assist in the development and execution of sales and marketing strategies tailored to the retail and HORECA sectors.
  • Recommend improvements to sales processes and approaches based on field experience.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Diploma or Certificate in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred
  • Proven experience in FMCG sales, preferably with a focus on the HORECA sector
  • Strong selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to consistently close sales and meet targets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to work under pressure and with minimal supervision
