DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and ensure consistent performance tracking.
  • Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and revenue streams.
  • Drive market penetration and growth through innovative go-to-market strategies.

Team Management

  • Recruit, train, mentor, and manage the sales team.
  • Allocate sales territories and monitor team KPIs and individual performance.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, reviews, and coaching sessions.
  • Foster a results-driven and collaborative sales culture.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Act as the main point of contact for key accounts and large customers.
  • Address customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure excellent post-sale service and support to enhance customer satisfaction.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, pricing dynamics, and customer behavior.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on sales performance, forecasts, and market conditions.
  • Use CRM tools and data analytics to optimize sales effectiveness.

 

 

Operational Coordination

  • Collaborate with other departments such as Marketing, Logistics, and Finance to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and legal standards.
  • Oversee contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and credit control processes.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 5–7 years of sales experience in the construction materials industry (e.g., cement, steel, aggregates, paints, plumbing, tiles, etc.)
  • Proven track record in leading a successful sales team and meeting/exceeding targets
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills
  • Solid understanding of the construction industry and its supply chain
