DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Stock Management: Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing products in the store. Ensure items are properly labeled and easy to access for hotel operations.
• Inventory Control: Conduct regular stock checks and report any stock discrepancies or damages.
• Supplier Deliveries: Support the unloading and verification of goods delivered by suppliers, ensuring all items match the delivery orders.
• Stock Organization: Ensure all goods are properly arranged and stored according to hotel procedures, including proper stock rotation (FIFO).
• Assistance During Stock Take: Help with stock takes and ensure all stock records are accurate.
• Health & Safety: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store area. Ensure all items are stored in line with safety and hygiene standards.
• Customer Support: Assist hotel departments in retrieving items from stock as required.
• Alcoholic Beverages Handling: Special focus on alcohol inventory, ensuring proper stock levels, handling, and storage of alcoholic beverages, in line with the hotel’s requirements.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

• At least 1-2 years of experience working in a liquor store, alcohol distributor, or related environment
• Good knowledge of alcoholic drinks and their proper storage conditions
• Must be able to handle heavy lifting and extended standing periods during stock management tasks
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to operate basic store management systems
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
