DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Household Management:
- Supervise and manage day-to-day household operations.
- Ensure cleanliness, tidiness, and maintenance of all areas of the house.
- Manage inventory of household supplies and report needs for replenishment.
Childcare / Nanny Duties:
- Provide attentive and loving care to children (if applicable).
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children.
- Assist with homework, playtime, and daily routines.
Cooking:
- Prepare healthy and balanced meals as per family preferences.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Plan basic menus and manage grocery requirements.
Cleaning and Laundry:
- Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, mopping, and laundry.
- Operate and maintain household appliances such as washing machines, dryers, vacuum cleaners, etc.
Guest Handling:
- Greet and attend to guests courteously.
- Maintain a polite and professional demeanor at all times.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Minimum education level: KCSE (Form Four Certificate or higher)
- Professional training in house management or domestic work (e.g., from a recognized institution or agency)
- Proven experience as a house manager, nanny, or housekeeper
- Excellent cooking and cleaning skills
- Familiarity with home appliances and basic maintenance
- High level of personal hygiene and grooming
- Courteous, patient, and well-composed personality
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Trustworthy and respectful with high integrity
