DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and schedule workshop jobs related to heavy trucks, ensuring efficient allocation of work.
- Interpret and prepare detailed work orders based on technical findings from service and diagnostic reports.
- Assist with preliminary diagnosis and repair estimates, liaising between technicians and operations managers.
- Maintain and update service records, inspection checklists, maintenance schedules, and compliance documentation (e.g., roadworthiness certificates).
- Monitor job progress and handle service queries with technical understanding and professionalism.
- Support technicians with technical resources and documentation when needed.
- Ensure adherence to all safety and regulatory requirements, assisting in workshop audits and inspections.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of workshop systems, scheduling, and cleanliness
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Certified Diesel Mechanic qualification
- Minimum 8 years hands-on experience working with heavy trucks (Isuzu, Nissan, Renault, Mitsubishi, UD, etc.).
- Strong workshop administration experience
- Solid understanding of heavy truck systems, including engines, transmissions, braking, and electrical systems.
- Excellent organizational skills, scheduling, and multitasking abilities
- Proficient in workshop management systems
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of fleet maintenance programs, heavy vehicle inspection standards, and compliance requirements
