ACCOUNTANT (ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards
• Monitor budgets and expenditures
• Ensure timely filing of tax returns and compliance with financial regulations
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Timely debt collection and regular engagement on accruing debt with customers.
• Approve cash disbursements by verifying departmental requirements.
• Maintaining strong inventory controls and oversee monthly stock takes

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification CPA (K)
• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role (minimum3 years)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
• Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and organizational skill
