DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and execute comprehensive sales strategies that align with overall business objectives.
- Identify new market opportunities and develop actionable plans to capture these opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure alignment in messaging and positioning.
- Lead, train, and mentor the sales team to enhance their skills and performance.
- Establish clear performance goals for team members, ensuring alignment with company targets.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and identifying professional development needs.
- Monitor and analyze sales metrics to assess team performance and identify trends.
- Utilize data-driven insights to develop strategies for improvement and maximize sales effectiveness.
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on sales performance and forecasting.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key dealers and clients to foster loyalty and trust.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and responsiveness.
- Address and resolve any client concerns or issues in a timely manner to enhance customer retention.
- Conduct thorough market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitive activities, and evolving customer needs.
- Analyze competitor strategies to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
- Adjust sales strategies based on market insights to maintain a competitive edge.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- College certificate in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Indian candidates preferred due to diversity in the company
- 2+ years of sales management experience, preferably in general machines or spare parts
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyse data and make strategic decisions based on findings.
- Proficient in excel.
- Have a passion for agricultural machines
- Speak English, Swahili
