DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Plumbing Design & Installation:
- Develop plumbing designs for commercial and residential projects based on client specifications.
- Provide technical assistance in selecting materials, equipment, and plumbing components.
- Oversee installation and commissioning of plumbing systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
System Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of plumbing systems to ensure functionality and longevity.
- Identify and diagnose plumbing issues, providing timely solutions and repairs to minimize downtime.
Project Management & Coordination:
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure plumbing systems are delivered on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth execution of projects.
Quality Control & Compliance:
- Ensure all plumbing systems comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Monitor quality control throughout the installation and maintenance process, conducting audits as needed.
Technical Documentation & Reporting:
- Prepare detailed reports, technical documentation, and drawings related to plumbing systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on plumbing or a related field
- A minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in plumbing, mechanical engineering, or water management.
- Practical knowledge of plumbing systems, installation, and maintenance procedures.
- Strong understanding of plumbing codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Familiarity with water treatment processes and sustainable plumbing practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other design software for drafting plumbing systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical and plumbing issues.
