DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Business Development

  • Proactively identify and approach potential customers (retailers, beauty stores, spas, salons, individual clients).
  • Develop and maintain a robust client pipeline to achieve and exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Conduct regular field visits to prospective and existing clients to promote products and close deals.
  • Pitch new product lines and promotions to increase product penetration in the market.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and sustain long-term client relationships to drive repeat business.
  • Provide after-sales support, resolve client complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Gather client feedback to help improve product offerings and service delivery.

Product Presentation & Demonstration

  • Demonstrate product use and benefits to clients and retail staff.
  • Train stockists or store staff on new products and promotional campaigns.
  • Coordinate and participate in marketing events, beauty demos, pop-up activations, and trade shows.

Reporting & Market Intelligence

  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of daily sales activities and customer interactions.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports on sales performance, market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales efforts with brand campaigns and seasonal launches.

 

Team Collaboration & Coordination

  • Work closely with warehouse, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure timely delivery and order fulfilment.
  • Assist in inventory planning by providing feedback on fast-moving products and client demand.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Degree or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years proven experience in selling cosmetics or beauty products
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer-focused attitude
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Proficient in MS Office and basic CRM tools
  • Ability to speak Somali is a distinct advantage
