DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with retail customers, including Wines & Spirits shops, independent retailers, and distributors. Engage in customer acquisition, onboarding, and retention to ensure long-term business success.
- Sales Execution: Ensure consistent sales performance by meeting daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets. Use your knowledge of the products to upsell and cross-sell, maximizing revenue opportunities.
- Product Promotion & Merchandising: Manage product placements, visibility, and promotional activities at the retail level to ensure that products are displayed attractively and are easily accessible to consumers.
- Market Monitoring & Feedback: Perform regular market visits to gather insights on market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities. Provide feedback to management on these findings and make recommendations to improve sales strategies.
- Inventory Management: Collaborate with retailers to monitor stock levels and help manage replenishments. Ensure that clients do not run out of stock and avoid overstocking.
- Sales Reporting & Analytics: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, including sales volumes, client interactions, market feedback, and competitor information. Provide regular reports to the management team on sales progress, challenges, and opportunities.
- Customer Service & Issue Resolution: Resolve customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain positive relationships.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a sales role, specifically in selling alcoholic products in retail Wines & Spirits shops.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a defined sales territory.
- Good understanding of the local market dynamics and consumer trends in the alcoholic beverage sector.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented.
