DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Client Relationship Development: Build and nurture strong relationships with key accounts in modern trade outlets, such as supermarkets and hypermarkets. Understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions to help them grow.
  • Sales Target Achievement: Develop and execute a sales plan to meet or exceed sales targets for the region. Track and report on sales progress and adjust strategies as necessary to meet goals.
  • Product Visibility & Merchandising: Ensure that all products are well-presented and strategically placed within the retail outlets. Oversee the implementation of promotional campaigns and point-of-sale displays to boost product visibility and consumer engagement.
  • Market Analysis & Trend Identification: Regularly monitor the retail market, consumer behavior, and competitor activities. Provide insights and recommendations to management regarding emerging trends and market opportunities.
  • Account Management & Negotiations: Negotiate pricing, promotions, and terms of sale with key account customers to maximize revenue and secure long-term relationships.
  • Promotional Execution: Execute promotional activities, in-store tastings, and special offers to generate excitement and drive product sales.
  • Sales Reporting & Forecasting: Maintain accurate records of sales data, customer interactions, and market insights. Prepare regular sales reports to track performance against targets and forecast future sales trends.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Diploma in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration
  • Proven experience in selling alcoholic products to modern trade outlets such as supermarkets or hypermarkets.
  • Strong knowledge of the retail and modern trade channels, with the ability to develop effective sales strategies.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Results-oriented with a strong focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of sales activities within the assigned region.
