DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, inspection, and storage of alcoholic products in the warehouse. Maintain accurate stock records using computer software and spreadsheets (Excel).
- Stock Movement & Dispatch: Prepare orders for dispatch and ensure that all stock movements are accurately logged. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers or retail outlets.
- Stock Audits & Replenishment: Conduct regular physical stock checks to ensure inventory accuracy and prevent stock shortages or overstocking. Coordinate stock replenishments to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all stock movements, including receipts, dispatches, and transfers. Prepare and submit reports on inventory levels, stock discrepancies, and product orders.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe. Ensure that all products are stored in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Support to Other Departments: Collaborate with the sales and logistics teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment. Assist with any other ad-hoc tasks related to inventory management as required.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Previous experience in storekeeping, stock management, and dispatching goods.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, and email communication).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of the alcoholic beverages industry is a plus.
