DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Engagement & Consultation:
- Assist clients with travel arrangements including flight bookings, accommodation, transfers, tours, and travel insurance.
- Customize travel itineraries based on client preferences, budgets, and special requests.
- Provide accurate and up-to-date travel information, including visa requirements, local laws, weather conditions, and travel advisories.
Customer Service:
- Offer professional and friendly support to clients before, during, and after their trips.
- Handle inquiries, complaints, and emergencies promptly and efficiently to ensure client satisfaction.
- Follow up with clients post-travel to gather feedback and maintain relationships for repeat business.
Booking & Documentation:
- Coordinate and manage travel bookings using internal systems and third-party platforms.
- Ensure all travel documents, including tickets, vouchers, and itineraries, are prepared and delivered accurately and on time.
- Maintain organized client records and update booking details in real-time.
Product Knowledge & Promotion:
- Stay informed on current tourism trends, new destinations, and travel regulations.
- Liaise with travel partners such as airlines, hotels, and tour operators to secure the best deals.
- Recommend promotional packages and upsell additional services (e.g. tours, excursions, insurance).
Administrative Duties:
- Prepare reports, handle invoicing, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Support the team with general administrative tasks as required.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma or Degree in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in the tour and travel industry
- Proficient in travel booking systems and software (e.g., Amadeus, Galileo, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of global and regional travel destinations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of customer service orientation and a proactive problem-solver
